Assessment of Genotypic and Phenotypic Correlation Coefficient in Twenty Genotypes of Gladiolus (Gladiolus grandiflorus L.) for Gwalior Region

A field experiment was conducted to study the “Genotypic and Phenotypic correlation coefficient in twenty genotypes of Gladiolus for Gwalior region” during 2021-2022 at Department Genetics Plant Breeding, School Agriculture, ITM University, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. In this were planted evaluation results investigation revealed that yield improvement through selection emphasis should be given on characters like height, Spike length, Rachis No. shoots per plant, corms plant. Especially may laid down upon Number florets or Diameter floret, since these had highly significant positive correlations with length so a direct from will more effective crop.
